Franz Lisp A MacLisp-like dialect of Lisp, developed primarily for work in {symbolic algebra} by R. Fateman et al at Ucb in about 1980. It was named after the Hungarian composer Franz Liszt (1811-1886). Franz Lisp was written in C and includes a compiler called "Liszt". ["The FRANZ LISP Manual", J.K. Foderaro et al.
